Background Blur Photo

Upload your photo — the subject stays sharp and the background gets blurred, just like portrait mode. Your photo is processed in your browser only; it is never uploaded.

How to use

1. Select your photo.
2. Adjust the blur intensity and focus radius sliders.
3. Click the preview to set the focus point on the subject.
4. Press "Download Blur Photo" and save the result.

Tips

• Keep the subject in the center and set the focus point right on the face for a natural look.
• A blur of 10–16 px looks natural on most photos; higher values can look artificial.
• Photos with a clear gap between the subject and the background give the cleanest blur effect.
• Your original photo is never changed — you can re-adjust and download again any time.

Note: this is a simple blur-mask tool — it does not auto-detect the subject. For the best result, keep the focus point at the center of the subject.
