Board Paper Rechecking Guide Pakistan
Think your paper was marked wrong? This guide explains paper rechecking for all BISE boards in Pakistan — the fee per paper, how to apply online, the last date rule, and how long the result takes. Select your board below to get its official apply link.
This is only a guide — this tool does not submit rechecking applications or access any board live data. Fees and dates change, so always confirm on your board official website.
What is checked in rechecking
Paper rechecking is not a fresh marking of your paper. The board only verifies three things:
- Retotaling: all question marks are added again to catch totaling mistakes.
- Unmarked questions: every attempted question is checked to make sure none was left unmarked.
- Result card match: the total on your result card is matched against the official award list.
Because of this, rechecking helps most when your marks look far lower than expected. Small differences of a few marks rarely change.
How to apply for rechecking online
- Open your board official website (use the link from the tool above).
- Go to Online Services and select the Rechecking option.
- Enter your roll number, exam session, and the papers you want rechecked.
- Download the fee challan and pay it at the listed bank or through the online payment option.
- Submit the form before the last date and save your tracking number or receipt.
Fee and timeline
- Fee: most boards charge about Rs 1,000 per paper. Confirm the current fee on your board website before paying.
- Last date: applications are usually accepted for about 15 days after the result. Late forms are not accepted.
- Result time: rechecking results usually take 4 to 8 weeks after the last date. The board publishes the status on its website.
- Revised card: if any change is found, the board issues a revised result card.
Documents and details you need
- Your roll number and exam session (from your result card or admit card).
- A copy of your result card.
- The paid fee challan or online payment receipt.
- Your CNIC or B-form number if the form asks for it.
Important notes
- Marks can increase, decrease, or stay the same — the revised total is final.
- Apply only for papers where the gap looks large; rechecking every paper wastes money.
- Keep your fee receipt and tracking number until the rechecking result is announced.
- Rechecking and supplementary exams are separate processes — you can prepare for the supply exam while waiting.
