Calorie Burn Calculator
Find out how many calories you burn with different activities. Choose an activity, enter your body weight and how long you exercise, and the tool estimates calories burned using standard MET (Metabolic Equivalent of Task) values.
Formula: calories = MET × weight (kg) × duration (hours). MET values are standard estimates from published activity compendiums; actual burn varies with fitness level and effort.

What is a MET?
A MET (Metabolic Equivalent of Task) measures how much energy an activity uses compared with sitting quietly (1 MET). Brisk walking is about 4 METs, meaning it burns roughly four times the energy of resting. The formula on this page multiplies the activity MET value by your weight in kilograms and the hours you exercise.
