How the calculation works
FPSC calculates your age on the cutoff date mentioned in the advertisement. This tool finds the exact age in years, months and days between your date of birth and the cutoff date. The applicable maximum age is the base limit (default 30 years) plus your category relaxation. You are eligible only if your age is at or above the minimum and at or below the relaxed maximum on the cutoff date.
- General candidates: no relaxation — the standard 21 to 30 years range applies.
- Government employees with at least 2 years of continuous government service: 2 years of upper age relaxation, making the maximum 32 years.
- Scheduled castes and the Buddhist community recognised for Sindh and Balochistan: 5 years of upper age relaxation, making the maximum 35 years.
