CSV to JSON Converter
CSV holds data in rows, but most code wants JSON objects. Upload or paste your CSV and get back clean JSON with the first row as keys, while quoted fields, commas inside quotes and escaped quotes are handled properly.
How to use
- Upload a CSV file or paste CSV text.
- Pick the delimiter and whether the first row is a header.
- Convert, then copy or download the JSON.
Tips
- Make sure the first row really is a header row before converting; data rows as keys give useless JSON.
- If a delimiter is wrong, every field shifts - try semicolon or tab for European exports.
- Very large files convert fine in the browser, but copying giant results can be slow; use the download.
- Check a few quoted fields in the output; nested quotes are the most common trouble spot.
Note: All values stay as strings, exactly as they appear in the CSV — convert numbers in your own code if you need typed values. Files are read locally and never uploaded.
