Days Since Calculator
How long ago was it? Enter a past date — a habit started, a baby born, a project launched — and see the time elapsed in days, weeks and a year-month-day breakdown, so you always know the exact count.
Pick a past date to count from.
How to use
- Pick the date in the past you want to count from.
- Optionally label it — for example "quit smoking" or "shop opened".
- Read the result: total days, weeks, and a year-month-day calendar breakdown.
- To count down to a future date instead, use the Days Until Calculator.
The calendar breakdown counts full years, then full months, then remaining days, using real month lengths — the same method as a careful manual count.
Good to know
- The calendar breakdown uses real month lengths, so February is counted as 28 or 29 days.
- The weekday shown is the day of the week your past date fell on.
- Labels are only shown on your screen — they are not saved anywhere.
