Always verify the live rate on the official OGRA (ogra.org.pk) or PSO (psopk.com) website, or on the price board at your nearest petrol pump. Where to check the official diesel price
- OGRA notification: the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority issues a fortnightly price notification on ogra.org.pk — the most official source.
- PSO (Pakistan State Oil): retail prices are listed on psopk.com.
- Petrol pump boards: every pump displays the OGRA notified price — the board at the pump is the real price.
- News channels: on revision day (the night of the 1st and 16th) the new price is announced on the news and applies from the next morning.

Ways to save diesel
- Keep speed between 80–100 km/h — high speed uses more fuel.
- Keep tyre pressure as per the company instructions.
- Avoid idling (keeping the parked car running) and use the AC only as needed.
- Service air and fuel filters on time — a clogged filter increases diesel use.
