How the comparison works
- Cost per km = fuel price per litre divided by mileage (km per litre).
- Monthly fuel cost = cost per km multiplied by your monthly distance.
- Yearly savings = (costly fuel monthly cost minus cheaper fuel monthly cost) multiplied by 12.
- This is a fuel-only comparison — purchase price, maintenance, insurance and resale are not included.
