ENV File Parser
Paste the contents of a .env file and inspect every variable in a clean table — with type detection, empty-value and duplicate-key checks, malformed-line detection, and warnings on sensitive secrets. Everything runs locally in your browser.
How to use
- Paste the contents of your
.envfile into the box, or click "Load sample" to try it with example data. - Click "Parse" to see every variable as a row: key, value, detected type and a status badge.
- Read the warning panel at the top for duplicate keys, malformed lines, empty values and sensitive keys.
- Use "Copy as JSON" or "Copy as table" to reuse the parsed result in documentation or chats.
Note: comment lines starting with # are skipped. An export KEY=value prefix is handled. Only the first equals sign splits key from value, so values may contain equals signs.
Tips
- A duplicate key means the last occurrence wins in most parsers — remove the earlier one to avoid confusion.
- An empty value like DB_PASSWORD= is a real setting in most frameworks; the parser marks it so you notice it.
- If a key has an unexpected type, check for stray quotes or spaces around the value.
