Your draft is autosaved in this browser as you type.
How to use
- Set your target word count, or pick one of the quick targets.
- Type or paste your essay into the text box.
- Watch the live counters and the target progress bar as you write.
- Stay in the green zone (90% to 110% of target) before you submit.
How the estimates work
Reading time is estimated at 200 words per minute. Speaking time is estimated at 130 words per minute, a common presentation pace. Amber means under 90% of target, green means on target (90–110%), and red means over 110%. Your draft is autosaved in your browser only — nothing is sent to a server.
