Eye Care 20-20-20 Timer
Long screen sessions strain your eyes. This free timer follows the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes of work, rest your eyes by looking at something 20 feet away for 20 seconds. Start the timer and it will beep when each break begins and ends.
Focus on your work. The timer will tell you when to rest your eyes.

Frequently asked questions
What is the 20-20-20 rule for eye care?
The 20-20-20 rule says that after every 20 minutes of screen time you should look at something at least 20 feet away for 20 seconds, which relaxes the eye muscles and reduces strain.
How does the Eye Care 20-20-20 Timer work?
Press Start and the timer counts down your work minutes. When the time is up it beeps and shows a break screen with a 20-second countdown. When the break ends it beeps again and starts the next work session.
Can I change the work and break times?
Yes. You can set any work length in minutes and any break length in seconds in the Settings box. Changing a setting resets the current timer.
Is my session log saved?
Yes. Every completed work session and break is recorded in your browser with localStorage, so you can see today log of sessions and breaks without an account.
