FPSC / PPSC Test Marks Calculator
Calculate your expected score in an FPSC or PPSC-style screening test. Enter your total questions, correct and wrong answers, and the negative marking rule — the calculator shows your net score, percentage, merit band, and how many more correct answers you need for your target.
Note: Every test advertisement states its own marking scheme. Negative marking (usually 0.25 marks per wrong answer in FPSC tests) is editable here — always verify the exact scheme from the official test syllabus or roll number slip. This is a score estimate, not an official result.

Frequently asked questions
Most FPSC screening tests deduct 0.25 marks for each wrong answer, which is why this calculator uses 0.25 as the default. Some tests use no negative marking, so the value is editable — always check your test advertisement or roll number slip for the exact rule.
Net score equals (correct answers × marks per question) minus (wrong answers × negative marking value). Unattempted questions add nothing and deduct nothing. The percentage is the net score divided by the maximum possible marks.
The bands are indicative labels used on this tool: 80% and above is outstanding, 70 to 80 is excellent, 60 to 70 is good, 50 to 60 is average, and below 50 is below average. The actual qualifying line is set by FPSC or PPSC for each test and may differ.
With negative marking, each wrong answer reduces your net score, so blind guessing can cost marks. Unattempted questions simply add nothing. The what-if table assumes new correct answers come from unattempted questions without adding new wrong ones.
No. This calculator only estimates your score from the numbers you enter. Your official result comes from the testing authority after the answer key and any normalization are applied.
