Inheritance Shares Calculator
Divide an estate under the standard Sunni faraid rules. Enter the estate value and the surviving heirs to see each heir fixed share, the share fraction, and the amount in PKR.

| Total | 1 | 100% | — |
How it works
- Enter the total estate value and mark the surviving spouse, the number of sons and daughters, and whether the father and mother are alive.
- The tool applies the fixed shares: wife gets 1/8 with children or 1/4 without, husband gets 1/4 with children or 1/2 without, father gets 1/6, and mother gets 1/6 with children or 1/3 without.
- The remaining estate goes to the children so that each son receives twice the share of each daughter. If there are no children, the father takes the remainder as the nearest male heir.
This calculator covers the standard Sunni case only: one spouse, parents and children. Complex cases with siblings, grandparents, other relatives, missing heirs, debts on the estate or multiple marriages need a qualified scholar. Debts, funeral costs and any bequest should be settled before the estate is divided.
