Leetspeak Converter
Turn ordinary text into leetspeak (1337) for gaming names, usernames and fun messages, or decode leetspeak back into plain text. The converter handles common letter-to-symbol swaps like E to 3 and A to 4, plus reverse decoding.
How to use
- Type or paste your text.
- Click Encode to turn it into leetspeak, or Decode to turn leetspeak back into plain text.
- Copy the result for your username or post.
Tips
- Use the decode mode when a message arrives in 1337 and you cannot read it.
- Keep gaming names readable — heavy leetspeak looks fun but other players may not recognize you.
- Leetspeak is not a security measure; never rely on it to hide real passwords or private information.
Encoding uses one fixed substitution per letter, so decoding is a best effort: some leet characters stand for more than one letter in the wild, for example 1 can be I or L.
