Morse Code Translator
Turn words into dots and dashes, or decode Morse code back into plain text. Type or paste your message, convert it instantly, and even listen to it played as real beeps at a speed you choose.
How to use
- Type plain text and click Text to Morse, or paste Morse and click Morse to Text.
- Use spaces between letter codes and a slash between words when decoding.
- Click Play Morse Audio to hear the result as beeps at your chosen speed.
Tips
- When decoding, put a space between letters and a slash (/) between words.
- A dot is one time unit and a dash is three — keep the rhythm steady when tapping it out.
- The most common letters have the shortest codes; E is just a single dot.
- SOS is simply ... --- ... — three dots, three dashes, three dots.
Audio uses standard timing: a dash is three dots long, gaps inside a letter are one dot, between letters three dots and between words seven dots. Words per minute follows the PARIS standard.
