Document checklist
Bring both originals and photocopies, and check that all names and dates match across every document before you visit.
Application process, step by step
- Get the computerized birth registration certificate of the child from your union council first, and correct it there if anything is wrong.
- Visit the nearest NADRA Registration Center with the parent CNICs and the birth certificate.
- Take a token for a new CRC (B-Form). For a correction or duplicate, ask for the modification token.
- The parent provides biometric verification. Children above 3 give a photograph, and older children give fingerprints and iris scans as NADRA asks.
- Review the printed data entry form carefully, then sign it to confirm everything is correct.
- Pay the fee and keep the receipt and tracking ID safe.
- Collect the printed CRC after processing, or download the PDF in the PakID app if you applied online.
How it works
- Use the fee finder to compare normal and executive service and plan your visit.
- Tick the document checklist so nothing is missing on the day.
- Follow the steps above at the NADRA center and track your application with the receipt tracking ID.
Frequently asked questions
Children under 18 are eligible. It is the first identity registration for the child and a required step before the Juvenile Card or CNIC.
First correct the union council birth certificate, because NADRA uses it as the source record. Then visit a NADRA center with the corrected birth certificate, parent CNICs, and the old B-Form, and ask for a modification token.
Apply for a duplicate at a NADRA center with the parent CNICs and any copy or tracking reference of the old B-Form. The same fee structure applies.
NADRA says the CRC expires when the child turns 3, 10, and 18, and it must be renewed with updated biometrics at each stage. At 18, the child moves to a CNIC.
