NADRA CNIC Expiry Checker
Enter your card type and the issue date printed on the card. The tool calculates the expected expiry date, how many days are left, and whether your card is still valid, expiring within 6 months, or already expired — with renewal guidance for each case.
For child cards, the card expires 5 years after issue or on the 18th birthday, whichever comes first.
Select a card type and issue date to see the expiry check.
Renewal guidance
- If your card is expired: apply for renewal as soon as possible. An expired CNIC can block bank transactions, SIM card activation, passport issuance and other official services.
- If your card expires within 6 months: start the renewal process now. NADRA accepts renewal applications before the expiry date, in Normal, Urgent or Executive speed.
- If your card is valid: no action is needed. Keep a note of the expiry date and renew in time.
- You can apply online through the Pak-ID app or the NADRA website, or visit the nearest NADRA registration center.
How to use
- Select your card type: adult CNIC, adult NICOP, or a child card.
- Enter the issue date exactly as printed on the card.
- For child cards, you may also enter the child age at issue so the tool can apply the age-18 rule.
- The expiry date, days remaining and card status update instantly, along with renewal guidance.
Note
This tool computes the expected expiry from the issue date only. NADRA records may differ (for example, after a correction or duplicate card), so please verify the actual expiry date on nadra.gov.pk or in the Pak-ID app before you apply or travel.
