Number Base Converter
Programmers and students convert between binary, decimal, hexadecimal and octal every day. Type a number, pick the input base, and see it in all four bases instantly — results update live as you type, with no button to press.
- Binary (Base 2)—
- Octal (Base 8)—
- Decimal (Base 10)—
- Hexadecimal (Base 16)—
How to use
- Enter your value in the boxes above or select the option.
- The result updates live at once — no button to press.
- Change the value or the base and the new result will appear automatically.
Note
Only positive integers are supported. In hexadecimal, the letters A to F are used. Entering wrong digits (for example 2 in binary) will show an error.
Tips
- Handy for programming (binary, hex), networking (subnet masks) and digital-electronics study.
- Results update live as you type — no button to press.
- Check which base your answer needs before copying — hex digits include A to F.
- For very long numbers, double-check the input base first; one wrong digit changes everything.
