Photo EXIF Data Viewer
Upload a photo to see the hidden EXIF metadata inside it — camera make and model, exposure, ISO, date taken and GPS location. Everything is parsed in your browser; your photo is never uploaded.

Only JPEG photos can carry EXIF data. PNG, GIF and WebP files are read but usually have no EXIF section.

How to use
- Press Choose Photo and select a JPEG image from your device.
- The tool reads the file and parses the EXIF section in your browser.
- If metadata is present, it shows in the table below the preview. If not, you see a clear message explaining why.
Note: Social media and messaging apps usually remove EXIF data, so photos saved from chat apps often show nothing.
Tips
- Use the original camera file for the richest data — exports and screenshots are usually stripped.
- GPS coordinates appear only if location was turned on when the photo was taken.
- Exposure time is shown as a fraction like 1/125, which is how photographers read it.
- Before sharing a photo publicly, check the GPS row — you may want to remove location data first.
