Session lengths
The classic Pomodoro method is 25 minutes of focus, a 5-minute break, and a longer break after 4 sessions. Change the numbers to fit your own rhythm, then press Save.
Session history
Every finished session is saved in this browser, newest first. Your history survives closing the page.
- No sessions finished yet. Press Start and finish your first focus session.
How to use
- Pick your task and press Start. Work on nothing else until the timer ends.
- When the alert sounds, step away for your break. Stretch, drink water, rest your eyes.
- After 4 focus sessions you earn a long break. Your streak counts focus sessions without skipping a break.
- Use Skip only to jump to the next session early. It does not count as a completed session.
Tips
- If 25 minutes feels too long at first, start with 15-minute focus sessions and build up.
- Keep a small notebook for distracting thoughts during a session, then deal with them in the break.
- Turn off phone notifications before pressing Start so the session stays unbroken.
- Three to four sessions a day of real focus beats eight distracted hours.
