What does the Postman Collection Builder create?

It builds a valid Postman Collection v2.1 JSON file. Name the collection, add requests with methods, headers and bodies, then copy or download the file and import it into Postman.

What can I set for each request?

A name, the HTTP method (GET, POST, PUT, PATCH or DELETE), the URL, custom headers, and a raw JSON body for POST, PUT and PATCH requests.

Can I edit or delete requests?

Yes. Each request in the list has edit and delete buttons, and the collection JSON preview updates live after every change.

How do I import the collection into Postman?

Download the .postman_collection.json file, open Postman, press Import, and drop the file into the import dialog or paste the copied JSON into the Raw text tab.

Are there any rules for the request URL?

Yes. The URL must start with http:// or https://, otherwise the form shows an error and the request is not added.
