Frequently asked questions

How often should I take a posture break?

Many ergonomics guides suggest a short movement break every 30 to 60 minutes of desk work. This tool lets you pick 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes so you can match your own routine.

How does the Posture Break Reminder work?

Choose your interval and press Start. When the countdown ends, the timer plays a soft beep and shows a random stretch tip with a 2-minute break countdown. When the break ends it beeps again and the next interval begins.

What stretch tips are included?

The tool includes eight built-in tips: neck rolls, shoulder shrugs, seated spinal twist, standing back extension, wrist stretches, chin tucks, hip flexor stretch, and a short walk. Each break shows one at random.

Are my completed breaks saved?

Yes. The breaks-completed counter is stored in your browser with localStorage, so your total survives page reloads and no account is needed.
