Punjab 11th Class Result 2026: Date, Boards, and How to Check
The Punjab 11th class result 2026 (HSSC Part-I first annual examination) is scheduled for Thursday, 22 October 2026 at 10:00 AM, when all nine Punjab boards announce together. Here is how to check your result, what to do when the site is slow, and what to do after the result.
Result date, time, and the nine boards
The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen (PBCC) runs a synchronized schedule, so all nine Boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education declare the HSSC Part-I result on the same date and at the same time. The confirmed schedule is:
| Detail | Information |
|---|---|
| Examination | HSSC Part-I (11th class / 1st year), first annual 2026 |
| Result date | Thursday, 22 October 2026 |
| Result time | 10:00 AM PKT |
| Boards | All 9 Punjab BISE boards, together |
| Checking methods | Official website, SMS, result gazette PDF |
The nine boards are Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, and Dera Ghazi Khan. Each board publishes its own result on its own official website at 10:00 AM. Note: some old web pages still show 15 October, which was the 2025 result date — that date is not for 2026. Always confirm against your own board notice close to result day.
How to check your result: three methods
1. Board website with roll number (fastest)
- Open your own board official website and find the result or HSSC Part-I section.
- Select the 2026 annual result and enter your roll number exactly as printed on your roll number slip.
- Submit to view your detailed marks. Take a screenshot or print the page — the original result card is issued later by your school or college.
If you lost your roll number slip, some board portals let you search by name with your father name and date of birth. Otherwise, find your name inside the official gazette PDF for your board (see below).
2. SMS
Boards run SMS services for students without reliable internet. Send your roll number to your own board SMS short code. The exact code differs per board, and codes change — check your own board official website or result-day notice for the current code rather than copying a code from a random web page.
3. Result gazette PDF
Each board publishes a result gazette — a PDF listing every candidate by roll number. It is large, but it works when portals are down. Download the gazette for your own board, open it on a computer, and search for your roll number with Ctrl+F (or the find option on mobile).
What to do if the site is slow at 10:00 AM
Millions of students check at the same minute, so board portals very often slow down, time out, or show errors right at 10:00 AM. This is normal and your result is safe. Try these steps:
- Wait and retry after a short interval. The worst load is in the first 30 to 60 minutes. Try again a little later.
- Use the SMS method. It does not depend on the website and usually works even when the portal is down.
- Do not keep reloading rapidly. Aggressive refreshing can lock you out temporarily. Wait a few minutes between attempts.
- Try a different network or browser. Switching from mobile data to Wi-Fi, or using a different browser, sometimes helps.
- Use the gazette. The gazette PDF is hosted separately and often stays reachable when the result page is overloaded.
After the result: what to do next
Rechecking (paper rechecking)
If a mark looks wrong — a paper you expected to pass shows fail, or a total looks far below your expectation — you can apply for rechecking. Applications are submitted online through your own board portal within the short window the board announces after the result, and a fee is charged per paper. Only the board can recheck a paper. Never pay any agent who claims to get your paper rechecked faster or to change marks — that is a scam.
Carrying a failed Part-I paper forward
You do not repeat the whole year. If you fail one or more Part-I papers, you reappear in those subjects along with the 12th class (HSSC Part-II) examination — usually at the second annual exam or the next annual exam, as your board announces. Keep your roll number slip and result safe, and submit the admission form for the failed papers before the board deadline so you do not miss the exam.
How Part-I marks feed your HSSC aggregate
Your final HSSC result is the combined total of Part-I and Part-II marks. Universities use the full HSSC aggregate for admission merit, so Part-I marks genuinely matter — a weak Part-I can be balanced by strong Part-II performance, but every mark counts. Use the Board Marks Aggregate Calculator to see how your Part-I marks feed into your HSSC aggregate, and the Matric Inter Result Calculator for combined merit working. For a general walkthrough of checking any board result, see the BISE Result Check Guide.
Staying safe on result day
- Use only your own board official website or its SMS service. Ignore copycat sites with similar names.
- Never share your roll number, CNIC, or phone number with agents who promise early results or better marks.
- Never pay anyone for a result. Board checking is free on the official portal; rechecking fees go to the board only.
- Keep a printed or saved copy of your result until you receive the original result card from your school or college.
Frequently asked questions
When is the Punjab 11th class result 2026 announced?
The Punjab Boards Committee of Chairmen has set 22 October 2026 at 10:00 AM for the 11th class (HSSC Part-I) first annual result. All nine Punjab BISE boards announce together at the same time. Confirm the date against your own board notice close to result day.
Which boards are included in the Punjab 11th class result?
Nine boards announce together: Lahore, Rawalpindi, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Multan, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, Sargodha, and Dera Ghazi Khan. Every board publishes its own result on its own official website at 10:00 AM on 22 October 2026.
How can I check my 11th class result if the website is slow at 10:00 AM?
The board portals get heavy traffic right at 10:00 AM and often slow down or time out. Wait a short interval and try again, try the SMS service of your board, or check a little later when traffic eases. Do not trust any site that claims to show the result before 10:00 AM.
What if I fail one paper in 11th class?
You do not repeat the whole year. Punjab students who fail a Part-I paper reappear in that subject along with the 12th class (HSSC Part-II) examination, usually at the second annual or the next annual exam. Check your board notice for the exact exam and form submission dates.
How do I apply for rechecking of my 11th class paper?
Rechecking applications are submitted online through your own board portal within the window announced by the board, and a fee is charged per paper. Apply only through the official board portal and pay only the board fee. Never pay any agent who claims to change or recheck your result.
