How does it work?
Tax is added to the bill subtotal first, then the tip is calculated on the bill plus tax. In even mode the grand total is divided equally among all people. In uneven mode, each person pays their own entered amount, and the tax and tip are shared in the same proportion as the base amounts. The custom amounts must add up exactly to the bill total.
How to use
- Enter the total bill amount and the number of people.
- Add tax and tip percentages if they apply.
- Keep Even split, or switch to Uneven split and write each person amount on its own line as Name amount.
- Press Calculate Split, then use Copy for WhatsApp to share the result.

What if my uneven amounts do not add up to the bill total?
The tool compares the sum of your entered amounts with the bill total. If they are different, it shows an error and asks you to fix the amounts before it can calculate.
