No output yet. Shift the timestamps to preview the result.
How to use
- Open your .srt file in a text editor, copy all the text, and paste it above.
- Enter how far off the timing is — for example 2.5 seconds.
- Choose forward if subtitles appear too early, backward if they appear too late.
- Press Shift Timestamps, check the preview, then download the fixed file.
Note: The tool renumbers subtitles and keeps the exact SRT format (hours:minutes:seconds, milliseconds), so players accept the output without problems.
Tips
- Test with the first minute of the video to find the right offset before shifting a full movie file.
- Use milliseconds (for example 250 ms) for fine-tuning lip sync.
- If subtitles drift more over time, the file needs speed correction, not a fixed shift — split it into parts and shift each part.
