How to use
- Enter the item name, shelf location, the quantity your system says you have, and the quantity you physically counted.
- Press Add Item — the variance (counted minus system) is calculated automatically. Shortages show red, overages show green.
- Check the summary boxes: total items, matched lines, shortages and overages.
- Use Download CSV to save the sheet to your computer, or Print Sheet for a paper copy.
Frequently asked questions
What does variance mean here?
Variance is the counted quantity minus the system quantity. A negative number means you are short (stock is missing); a positive number means you have more than the system shows.
Is my stock list saved?
Yes. The list is saved in your browser automatically, so you can close the page and continue counting later. You can also download a CSV backup at any time.
Can I leave the system quantity empty?
Yes. Empty quantities are treated as zero, which is useful when you are adding a new item that is not in the system yet.
