How it works
- Enter your total word target and your deadline date.
- Add one row per chapter with its name and word target.
- The tool computes words per day from the days left until the deadline, for the whole thesis and per chapter.
- Log each writing session with the date, chapter and word count; progress bars and the target line update instantly.
- If your logged words fall behind the target line, a shortfall alert tells you how many words to catch up.
