How does hard mode work in this tic tac toe game?
Hard mode uses the minimax algorithm: the computer evaluates every possible future move and always picks the move with the best guaranteed outcome. Played correctly it can never lose, so the best possible result for the player is a draw. Easy mode simply picks a random empty square each turn.
Who moves first in the game?
