TikTok Safe Zone Overlay
Upload a portrait image and see exactly which parts TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels cover with their interface. Toggle each platform zone on or off, check the safe title area, then download the composed preview as a PNG. Your image stays in your browser — nothing is uploaded to any server.
Images only — PNG, JPG, GIF or WebP. The file is read locally with FileReader and never sent anywhere.
Platform zones (legend)
How to read the preview
- Colored bands show where each platform places its buttons, titles and captions.
- Keep faces, subtitles and calls to action inside the dashed safe area.
- Your image is drawn fit inside a 9:16 frame with cover crop, like a real phone screen.
- Download the preview to check your design before you post.

How to use
- Click "Choose File" and pick a portrait image from your device.
- Toggle the platform zones in the legend to compare TikTok, YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.
- Adjust your design so key text stays inside the dashed safe title area.
- Click "Download Preview PNG" to save the composed preview.
Tips
- Subtitles and important text should sit in the middle 60% of the frame to survive every platform UI.
- Avoid the bottom 25% for text — captions, like buttons and progress bars live there.
- The right edge is risky on TikTok: the like, comment and share rail covers about 12% of the width.
- Test with the exact crop you will post — cover crop can cut heads if the photo is too wide.
