How to use
- Enter your current stock value, cash, receivables and business debts in PKR.
- Check the nisab — update it if the current silver price has changed.
- Press Calculate — if net assets reach the nisab, you see the exact 2.5 percent zakat due.
Good to know
- Only stock bought for resale counts — shop fittings, tools and machinery are not counted.
- Value stock at its current selling price, not what you paid for it.
- Zakat becomes due when your net assets have stayed at or above nisab for one lunar year.
- Silver nisab (52.5 tola) is lower than gold nisab (7.5 tola), so more business owners pay it — that is why it is the default here.
