How to use

  1. Enter your obtained and total marks for matric, inter and the entry test.
  2. Pick a preset formula (Medical / MDCAT, Engineering / ECAT, or General) or set custom weightages with the sliders. The total must be 100.
  3. Click Calculate Aggregate to see your final merit percentage with the full breakdown of each part.

Tips

  • Medical admissions in Pakistan commonly use 10 percent matric, 40 percent inter and 50 percent MDCAT.
  • Engineering admissions commonly use 25 percent matric, 45 percent inter and 30 percent entry test.
  • Use exact totals from your result card — some boards and tests do not use 1100 or 200.
  • Estimate your test score first with the Negative Marking Score Calculator, or convert BISE marks with the Matric Inter Percentage Converter.
  • Everything is calculated in your browser; your marks are never uploaded anywhere.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How is the admission aggregate calculated?

Each part is converted to a percentage, then multiplied by its weightage and added together. For example, with weights 10 / 40 / 50, aggregate = (matric % x 0.10) + (inter % x 0.40) + (test % x 0.50). The tool shows the contribution of each part.

Which weightage presets are included?

Three common patterns are built in: Medical / MDCAT with 10 percent matric, 40 percent inter and 50 percent test; Engineering / ECAT with 25 percent matric, 45 percent inter and 30 percent test; and General with 50 percent matric and 50 percent inter.

Can I use my own custom weightages?

Yes. Move the three sliders to any values you like, or type exact numbers, as long as they add up to 100. The tool validates the total and warns you if the weights do not sum to 100.

What totals should I enter for matric, inter and the entry test?

Enter the obtained and total marks exactly as shown on your result. Matric and inter are usually out of 1100 in Pakistan, and MDCAT is out of 200. The defaults match these, but change them if your board or test uses different totals.

Is this aggregate official for my university?

No. Formulas vary between universities and programs, and some add interviews or other criteria. Always verify the exact formula with the official admission office before applying.
