KE Duplicate Bill Download: Get Your K-Electric Bill Online

If your K-Electric bill did not arrive or you lost the printed copy, you do not need to visit a KE office. KE duplicate bill download lets you get an official copy of your current bill online using your 13-digit account number — free, and accepted everywhere the printed bill is accepted.

A valid KE account number is exactly 13 digits. Check yours before using any method below.

What a KE duplicate bill is

A duplicate bill is an official reprint of your current K-Electric bill. It carries the same billing month, units consumed, payable amount, due date, and taxes as the original printed bill. Because payments are recorded against your 13-digit account number, a duplicate bill works for payment at banks, Easypaisa, JazzCash, and mobile banking apps exactly like the paper bill.

Method 1: official K-Electric portal (fastest)

  1. Open the official K-Electric website and go to the Customer Service section, then Digital Bills and Payments.
  2. Enter your 13-digit account number from any old bill in the bill-check box.
  3. Your current bill opens on screen — check the payable amount, billing month, and due date.
  4. Use the download or print button on the page to save the bill as a PDF or print it.

Method 2: WhatsApp 0348-0000118

  1. Save 0348-0000118 in your phone contacts.
  2. Send Hi on WhatsApp to start the chat.
  3. Choose the duplicate bill option from the menu.
  4. Enter your 13-digit account number (or meter number when the menu offers it).

The WhatsApp service runs 24/7 and also handles complaints, power-status checks, and income tax certificates.

Method 3: SMS to 8119

Send an SMS in the format BILL [your 13-digit account number] to 8119. You need to register your mobile number with K-Electric first; standard SMS charges apply.

Method 4: KE Live app

Install the KE Live app (Android and iPhone), register with your 13-digit account number, and your bill appears in the dashboard. The app also shows billing history and payment status.

Where to find your 13-digit account number

  • On any previous KE bill, in the Consumer Details section near the top (usually printed above or beside your name and address). It typically starts with 04.
  • Your separate 8-digit consumer number is also printed on the bill but is not the account number — the portal needs the 13-digit one.
  • No old bill? Call 118 or 99000 with your service address and KE staff can help locate your account.

Downloading as PDF and printing tips

  • On desktop, use the browser print dialog (Ctrl + P) and choose Save as PDF if the page has no download button.
  • On mobile, use the share menu in your browser and select Print or Save as PDF.
  • Print at 100% scale on A4 paper so the bank stamp area stays clear for in-person payments.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. A duplicate K-Electric bill generated on the official portal shows the same payable amount, due date, and billing details as the printed bill you receive at home. Banks, Easypaisa, and JazzCash all accept it because the 13-digit account number is what matters for payment, not the paper.

The 13-digit account number (also called the consumer reference number) is printed in the Consumer Details section at the top of any previous K-Electric bill, usually starting with 04. If you have no old bill at all, call the KE helpline at 118 or 99000 with your service address and staff can help you locate your account.

The official online portal and SMS service need the 13-digit account number. However, the KE WhatsApp service (0348-0000118) lets you check your bill using either the account number or the meter number through its menu options.

Payments typically take 24 to 48 hours to reflect in the K-Electric system. If you check your bill immediately after paying, it may still show as unpaid. Re-check after two working days, and keep your payment receipt until the status updates.

Call 118 or 99000, both available 24/7. You can also message K-Electric on WhatsApp at 0348-0000118 for bill copies and complaints, or email customer.care@ke.com.pk with your account number.
