LESCO New Meter Fee Estimator

Estimate what a new LESCO electricity connection may cost: meter price, security deposit on sanctioned load, service-line charges, plus the steps and documents to apply. All figures are estimates — your official LESCO demand notice is the final authority.

Adjust this if your LESCO office quotes a different per-kW rate for your area.

How to apply for a new LESCO connection

Online application

  1. Open the PITC new-connection portal (enc.pitc.com.pk) and select LESCO.
  2. Choose the connection category (domestic or commercial) and fill in your CNIC, address, and required load.
  3. Upload scanned copies of your documents (list below).
  4. Submit and note down the application reference number.
  5. Track the status online; LESCO will visit for site verification, then issue your demand notice.
  6. Pay the demand notice at the designated bank within its validity period, then the meter is installed.

Visit a LESCO office

  1. Go to the customer service center of your LESCO division with original documents.
  2. Collect and fill the new-connection application form; attach document copies.
  3. Get a receipt with your application number and keep it safe until the demand notice arrives.

Document checklist

  • Copy of applicant CNIC (attested)
  • Proof of ownership or tenancy: registry, allotment letter, or rent agreement
  • Copy of a neighbor electricity bill (helps locate the nearest pole)
  • Wiring test report / wiring completion certificate from a licensed electrician
  • For commercial: NTN certificate and business registration where applicable
  • Load requirement form signed by the applicant
  • Two recent passport-size photographs

Good to know

  • Three-phase meters are needed for heavy loads (motors, workshops, large homes) and cost more than single-phase.
  • Pay the demand notice only at the bank named on it, and keep the stamped receipt copy.
  • If the demand notice looks wrong (wrong load, wrong address), ask for a correction before paying.
