Ohm's Law Calculator
Electricians and students solve V = I x R daily. Enter any two values — voltage, current, resistance or power — and the other two appear instantly. AC single-phase and three-phase modes add power factor for real-world motor and load calculations.
Formulas: V = I × R · P = V × I · I = V ÷ R · R = V ÷ I · P = I² × R · P = V² ÷ R
AC Single-Phase: P = V × I × PF · Three-Phase: P = √3 × V × I × PF
AC Single-Phase: P = V × I × PF · Three-Phase: P = √3 × V × I × PF
How to use
- Select a mode: DC/Simple, AC Single-Phase or AC Three-Phase.
- Fill any 2 of the four fields (V, A, Ω, W) and leave the rest empty.
- Press Calculate — the other two values will appear right away. Press Clear All to calculate again.

Tips
- Fill any two of the four fields and leave the rest empty — the other two appear instantly.
- Three-phase AC needs the power factor; the default of 1 assumes a purely resistive load.
- Double-check your units (mA vs A, kW vs W) before using a result on real wiring.
- For classroom practice, compare the calculator's answer with your manual V = I x R working.
