Bank Cash Withdrawal Tax Calculator

Calculate the withholding tax deducted on cash withdrawals from Pakistani banks — different for filers and non-filers — and plan withdrawals to legally pay zero tax.

Single day withdrawal

Counter + ATM + branch withdrawals in a single day are added together by the bank.

Zero-tax withdrawal planner

Need a large amount of cash? Splitting withdrawals across days keeps each day under the Rs 50,000 threshold.

How to use

  1. Select whether you are a filer or non-filer and enter your one-day cash withdrawal. The tax deduction appears instantly.
  2. If you are a non-filer and need a big amount, use the planner to see how many days of Rs 50,000 withdrawals cover it with zero tax.
  3. The easiest permanent fix is becoming a filer — the tax on withdrawals becomes zero.

Note: Under Section 231AB of the Income Tax Ordinance, banks deduct 0.8% withholding tax on the amount exceeding Rs 50,000 of daily aggregate cash withdrawals by non-filers; filers are exempt. Withholding tax rates are set by the annual Finance Act and can change, so confirm the current rate with your bank or FBR. This tax is adjustable — filers and non-filers can claim it in their income tax return. This tool is for estimation only, not tax advice.
