Credit Card Interest Calculator

Your card balance quietly grows every day it stays unpaid. Enter your average daily balance and APR to see the daily and monthly interest charges it produces. The numbers make the true cost of carrying a balance easy to see before your next statement arrives.

How to use

  1. Enter the average daily balance from your statement.
  2. Enter the card APR (in Pakistan usually 35–45%).
  3. Enter the billing cycle days and how many months the balance will stay unpaid.
  4. See the daily, cycle, and monthly interest.

Tips

  • Compare the daily charge to your minimum payment: if the interest alone is close to the minimum, the balance barely moves.
  • Paying a week earlier in the billing cycle cuts the average daily balance and the interest with it.
  • Balance transfers can help, but read the transfer fee and the revert rate first.
  • The estimate assumes the balance stays unpaid; partial payments lower the charge.

Note

Banks use the average daily balance method, and you only get a grace period when the previous balance is paid in full. Late fees and cash advance charges are not included.
