- The calculator shows filer tax, non-filer tax, and your saving instantly.
- If rates have changed, adjust them in the editable rate fields — defaults are typical recent FBR rates.
Compare withholding tax
| Status | Rate | Tax on this amount |

| Non-filer | — | — |
How to become an ATL filer
- Register for an NTN (National Tax Number) on the FBR IRIS portal.
- File your annual income tax return with correct income details.
- Your name appears on the Active Taxpayers List (ATL), which FBR updates weekly.
- If your name was removed, filing the return again — plus any surcharge for late filing — brings it back.
Note
This calculator is an estimate for comparison only. Withholding tax rates change with every Finance Act and can differ by province, transaction size, or vehicle engine capacity. The default rates shown are typical recent FBR schedule values and are editable for this reason. Always verify the current official rates from the FBR website or a qualified tax professional before making any financial decision.
