Principal 50%
Interest 50%
Formula: reducing-balance (monthly compounding). This is an estimate, not financial advice. The actual amount may differ due to bank rates, fees and terms.
How does it work?
EMI = P × r × (1+r)^n / ((1+r)^n − 1), where P = loan amount, r = monthly rate (annual / 12 / 100), n = number of months. Interest is charged on the remaining balance with each installment, so early installments have more interest and less principal.
How to use
- Enter the loan amount, annual rate and tenure in months (or use years).
- Press Calculate EMI — EMI, total interest and total payable will show instantly.
