How to use
- Select your bank from the list, or choose Other / unknown and type the bank's 4-character code.
- Enter your account number using digits only (spaces and dashes are removed automatically).
- Click Generate IBAN — the tool pads the account to 16 digits, computes the two MOD-97 check digits and shows the full 24-character IBAN with a copy button.
- To check an existing IBAN, paste it in the validator box and click Validate. It passes when the MOD-97 check equals 1.
Important note
A valid checksum only confirms that the IBAN format is correct. It does not confirm that the account exists or belongs to you. Always verify the IBAN with your bank before using it for any transfer. This tool works fully offline in your browser and never sends your account number anywhere.
