How to use
- Enter the Plot A area, choose marla, kanal or sq ft, and enter its asking price in rupees.
- Do the same for Plot B.
- Click Compare Plots to see both plots in all three units, the price per marla, the price per square foot, and the verdict.
How the comparison works
Both areas are first converted to square feet: 1 marla = 272.25 sq ft, and 1 kanal = 20 marla = 5,445 sq ft. Each plot is then shown in marla, kanal and square feet, so you can compare them on one scale.
Price per marla is the asking price divided by the marlas, and price per square foot is the asking price divided by the square feet. The plot with the lower per-unit price is the better deal per unit, even if its total price is higher.
Note: only the asking prices you enter are compared. Registration, transfer fee, commission and taxes are not included.
Frequently asked questions
How many square feet are in one marla?
One marla equals 272.25 square feet (30.25 square yards). The tool uses this standard value for all conversions.
How many marlas are in one kanal?
One kanal equals 20 marlas, which is 5,445 square feet. The tool converts both plots to square feet first, then shows each plot in marla, kanal and square feet.
What does better deal per unit mean?
It means the lower price per square foot, and the lower price per marla. A plot can cost more in total but still be the better deal per unit if its per-unit price is lower.
Does the comparison include taxes and transfer fees?
No. The comparison uses only the asking prices you enter. Registration, transfer fee, commission and taxes are extra and can differ by area.
Is this financial advice?
No. It is a simple math comparison to help you compare two plots fairly. Always verify ownership documents and the exact measured area before any deal.
