How the comparison works

  • Net PKR = (your amount minus the channel fee) multiplied by the channel rate.
  • The best channel is the one with the highest net PKR received, and its row is highlighted.
  • Transfer time is informational — it does not change the math, but a slower channel may matter if the money is urgent.
  • A channel with a great rate but a high fee can lose to a channel with a slightly lower rate and no fee. That is why fees are subtracted first.

Where to find live rates

  1. State Bank of Pakistan on sbp.org.pk — the official interbank closing rate.
  2. Currency exchange shops in your city — for the open market buying rate.
  3. Remittance apps (Wise, Remitly, XE, etc.) — each shows its rate and fee before you pay.

Frequently asked questions

It changes daily. The open market rate is usually highest, the interbank rate is the official bank rate, and remittance services sit between them. Enter the live rates from each channel in the comparer to see which gives the most net PKR after fees.

The interbank rate is the official rate used by banks for legal transfers, set by market trading between banks. The open market rate is what currency exchange shops pay for foreign currency, usually slightly higher. Remittance services must deliver through the official channel.

Yes. A higher rate with a high fee can be worse than a slightly lower rate with zero fee. This comparer subtracts each channel fee from your amount before converting, so the net PKR shows the true winner.

Digital remittance services usually deliver within minutes to a few hours. Bank wire transfers through the interbank channel can take 1 to 3 working days. Enter the quoted time for each channel in the comparer.
Note: Default rates are editable examples, not live quotes. Rates change through the day — enter the rates you see right now, and always use licensed services for legal transfers to Pakistan.
