How to use
- Write the date, the account name, and an amount in one of Debit or Credit.
- Keep pressing Add Entry — totals update on their own.
- At the end, Total Debit = Total Credit should hold. If there is a difference, you will see it — then check your entries.

Good to know
- Enter every journal line with equal debits and credits; the checker compares the column totals, not individual accounts.
- A difference of exactly double an amount often means an entry went on the wrong side — check the debit and credit columns.
- Small rounding differences are common with decimal amounts; compare to the cent and adjust where needed.
- This tool matches totals only — it cannot tell you which account an entry should go into.
